Egg cutting (2 - 3 year olds)

This activity is aimed to practice children’s fine motor skills and to develop children’s understanding of the world and sensory exploration.


Home Learning

You will need

  • a boiled egg
  • a bow
  • a plate
  • small tongs
  • an egg slicer

What to do

  1. peel the eggshell off
  2. Put the egg on the top of the egg slicer
  3. Slice the egg
  4. Use the small tong to grab the sliced egg piece by piece, putting them into the bowl.
