Develop your child's language by letting them recognise images corresponding to the words.
You will need
You will just need several duplicate animal images.
What to do
In our French classes, we used images from one of the students’ favourite stories: ‘Quand tu es content’ (When you are happy). Thus, students can enjoy finding peers, looking for the animal corresponding to the word “monkey”, “mouse” or “elephant”, or you can play this in a more advanced way as a “memo” game. In this case, turn the pictures over, and ask your child to find the peers using their memory.

Ask your child
- Which animals have you chosen to print?
- Can you find the pair of this image? What animal is it?
- Can you show me where the monkey is? Rhinoceros?
